Overview
Designed a rapid battery swap system for a covert-operations drone where deployment time was mission-critical. Created a 3-part channeling system integrating the drone chassis, battery case, and canopy — the battery slides in guided by the canopy and locks at 5 contact points for redundancy. Battery case disassembles in under 60 seconds for field maintenance. Cooling vents were disguised as the brand logo to mitigate heating without visual compromise. Final product: 512g added mass, swap time under 10 seconds, SLA and Onyx CFR prints for the two material variants.
